What you get for your ten bucks is a simple vest made of elastic, a belt, and a couple of short arm bands. The product description says it fits up to a 41” chest, but that assumes you’re not wearing anything thicker than a t-shirt. I ordered it for walking after dark, a common thing this time of year, and that means wearing it over an insulated jacket- which this is far too small to accommodate.

This vest is great for adding visibility for my morning and evening runs and sunset bike rides. The vest is lightweight and stretchy. It can be adjusted down to a small adult size or up to a large. The design is super comfy and lightweight so after a while, I forget that it is on. The adjustments make it easy for my husband and I to share the vest. I do like the belt and leg options. I can attach it to our bike trailer that we cart my daughter around in. It definitely makes me feel safer which is motivating to get my exercise in before my daughter wakes up or after she goes to bed. I also feel safer with my daughter being on the road on the bike trailer which gets us out on more family bike rides.

This is comfortable to wear and definitely shows up well at night. However, it does not have a carry/storage bag making it difficult to carry/transport. In addition, you can get a set of 2 with a carry bag for this price from other vendors.

So at an average height and build this ‘vest’ comes down mid stomach area. It does not come down to your waist unless you’re really short. Also it comes really loose and the shoulder parts will fall off your shoulders until you adjust it. Even then it’s somewhat loose.
I will say you don’t want to stretch these much, if any at all. I actually watched as the reflection part ‘cracked’ when I accidentally stretched it putting it on.
Also a couple of the reflective parts are missing the reflective part and showing small circular spots where you can see the underlying black belt. So I am unsure how durable these are or how well constructed.
I will also say unless you buckle the vest part it will fall off your shoulders and turn itself into the non reflective part (which we definitely don’t want). So be careful with the orientation.
Lastly, these aren’t made for bigger people or really heavy winter clothing in my opinion are you will stretch and crack the reflective strips or possibly break the buckles as they don’t seem too well made.
These serve their purpose but for how long I don’t know. To be fair mine are a month old and used almost every night. So far so good.
