I have fairly severe scoliosis and as a result, I suffer from back pain. In particular, I am unable to carry even a light backpack for more than a short time without significant pain. That said, I still love to be active – especially with running and hiking. Up to this point, the only way I’ve been able to carry water is in a vest with soft flasks in the front. But in total, these vests only hold one liter of water (2 soft flasks). For a long time, I’ve been looking for a way to carry more water with me for longer hikes. I tried a biking pack that goes around your hips, but unfortunately, I ended up in pain from that as well. This Salomon belt, however, turns out to be a great solution. It can fit one 0.5 liter soft flask, which increases my water carrying capacity by 50%. It fits snuggly around your body, just above the hips, so it really just feels like an extension of you. It also has a zip pocket where you can keep my phone and/or keys, and a couple of straps that you can tie things to, or can even hold your hiking poles if you lay them horizontally. I highly recommend this belt.

The belt is very handy for a run on which you want to take a few things like light rain jacket, mobile phone, keys etc. I’m 32” with all my jeans. Medium belt was tiny bit too tight with a winter set, Large was good (I bought both sizes). Medium will be good for the summer runs I guess 🤷♂️. I recommend this belt, it’s comfortable.

Des clés, du dextrose, un smartphone, un petit portefeuille, une compote, une barre de céréales et deux gourdes souples de 500 ml d’eau: voilà tout ce qu’elle peut contenir au maximum !
Parfait pour faire 20 km (ou plus, mais il faudra que j’en discute avec mes jambes 😛 ).
La ceinture est de qualité, tient bien (elle n’est jamais tombé), serre bien sans être une gêne.
Elle possède une poche sans fermeture facilement d’accès à l’arrière et une autre zippée devant.
Le coloris peut parfois dénoter avec la tenue portée (tant pis!) et les gourdes peuvent avoir un effet “diabolo” en courant (ça monte, ça descend… à chaque foulée. C’est un style.)
