I’ve used this for my daughter’s speed training for soccer and it’s so easy to use. The display is nice and clear, and has performed flawlessly in the rain. I’ve had it for 4 months and the batteries are still strong. Definitely recommend for the price!

Works really well and is easy to use. I use it to help time workouts for my clients. The beep when you press the buttons is very quiet and I like that. Seems sturdy enough for regular use. Probably not rugged enough for rough or heavy use. The material it is made of feels fine but probably wouldn’t survive more than a few drops (5 stars if it was built sturdier). Only had it for a month so longevity is barely measurable.
Pole Position 1982 –
My previous stopwatch of seven years finally conked out on me. Rather than getting the same stopwatch, decided to try something different. As a prime member, of course came to Amazon and typed stopwatches.
Marathon Adanac 3000 was on the first page and listed as a best seller. After reading a few reviews, I was sold and purchased the yellow one.
Next day, Adanac 3000 arrived. When I opened the box, watch was already on. I did not read the instructions until after I customize stopwatch to my settings. It was really easy to setup and I was looking forward to using it at the gym following day. Next day…was at the gym and it was time to put Adanac 3000 to the test. With workout gloves on, stopwatch was easy to start, stop and reset when needed. The feel was just right and when I had to put Adanac 3000 around my neck, it was enough length/room, very comfortable and very light on my neck.
When my workout was complete, I was very impressed with Adanac 3000 (Yellow). So much so, I ordered Adanac 3000 (Neon Green) later in the day and now I own 2. Not only will I use Adanac 3000 for my workouts but also for my meal prepping as well.
Adanac 3000 is the best stopwatch I ever owned and I highly recommend this stopwatch.

This is a great watch to have! Not only can I have it be a stopwatch (DUH!) as it states in the description, (and IS) it can display the time in either 12 or 24 hr format, and shows the day and date. Although everything I’ve previously stated can be confirmed through a cursory glance at the details mentioned on the main page, I have also found out that it is VERY easy to set time & date, day of the week, has a decently large display, and can go under my work ‘smock’, which is the reason I bought it, since where I work, from the waist up, the only things that can be ‘exposed’ to the outside, are your hands and eyes. Since the production floor is nearly devoid of all timepieces, I wanted to have something to wear that would let me know the time, but would also stay under my smock, as the wristwatch I had kept ‘peeking’ out from under my sleeve, and the supervisor told me to leave it in my locker from now on. I wear this stopwatch around my neck, and under my smock but over my shirt, since that way, all I have to do to see the time, is slightly pull apart my smock between two of the four snaps that keep it closed, and take a quick peek! I also found out one other thing, and answered my own question. Yes, you CAN turn off the hourly chime. It shows you exactly how in the instructions. BTW, I know the saying “If all else fails, read the directions” but just do it first this time; the instructions are only a leaflet, and are very easy to read and understand. (they’re not from China) So do yourself a favor, save some aggravation, and take the (about 2 minutes) time you’ll need, to read the instructions!
