Robin’s Egg –
These shoes are a combination of no-tie laces and a velcro strap which looks a little odd, but let’s you adjust how tightly they’re worn. The “barefoot” claim may be a little overstated, but there is texturing in the foot of the shoe. My son, who doesn’t always like new textures, had no problem with it.
Compared to my son’s other shoes, these run true to size or very slightly large.
The plastic soles on these is different than I’m used to seeing. It should be protective but I’ll be interested to see how they hold up.

My son runs through shows mainly because he is so active and not even from growing. He was happy with the comfort of these and how easy they are to put on. It makes life a bit easier when kids are in comfortable shoes to go run and play. Plus they are the black ones so he cab wear them with better clothing.

I have a child with wide feet who hates wearing shoes. These were the first ones that I’ve not got a complaint about. They have no tie laces but expand and have plenty of give. The top is hook and loop and they are easy to take off/put on. They are fashionable and comfortable. I really got them because the school my child attends allows: black, white, or gray shoes. The surprising, unexpected thing is my child has horrible balance and these seem to help with that as there is more feeling in the barefoot shoe.

My 6 yo daughter who just moved into size 12 kids shoes loves these. It’s now her favorite shoe to wear, meaning she doesn’t wear any other shoes for the time being. She loves blue and the colors on this shoe are very bright and vivid. It’s also surprisingly thick and warm. Not a winter boot by any means, but this is not for a hot summer day either. The soles are quite thick too for a barefoot shoe. This is probably good thing since our kids tend to ruin the shoes within a matter of weeks. Speaking of which, it has been almost a week and these shoes still look pretty much new, which speaks of a good quality. So far very happy with these shoes.

These are pretty nice shoes. The sizing seems to be correct. The size we ordered fits her perfectly but I fear once she finishes this growth spurt, they will be too small. So it may just be the timing of us ordering. But, my kiddo loves them. They are comfortable and she can really climb around and move in them incredibly well. She says it feels like she’s not even wearing shoes at all. Overall, we are really happy with these.

Very good quality shoes for a great price! Nice thick sole and very fashionable looking shoe. My son said they are very comfortable too!

My daughter is almost 9 and 99th percentile for height. We ordered the purple in size 1.5 and they fit great without socks but snuggly without too much wiggle room for growth. These look very stylish and contemporary plus the Velcro and no tie laces mean getting out the door (with no socks) is a breeze. Note that there only appears to be that one half size which I thought a bit strange for a shoe meant to fit so snugly. Each toe is reinforced with a little indented piece of rubber making these look different than just any sneaker. They aren’t separated though like toe or “tabby” socks or shoes.
I was skeptical about these at first because first, they are pricey for shoes my kid will probably grow out of in a few months, plus they are advertised as a “barefoot” shoe which I assume means no socks which they say the “splay” or spreading of the toes promotes healthy gait and foot development. Who knew?!
Before this my daughter was having stinky feet issues so I’ll report back if this helps or hinders that issue as they say they breathe. Many socks for kids with designs aren’t cotton blend and she was sometimes getting lazy changing them and wearing the same pair twice (she’s adhd). This eliminates that step plus these feel soft inside.
I like that they appear high quality, the purple color is so fun and pretty it has me wishing these come in my size.
