These are a pretty good pair of running/athletic shorts. In my opinion, they do not seem to excel is any particular area, but they still appear to be good quality. They are not the most comfortable, or stretchy pair of shorts, but they are fine and will meet expectations for a decent pair of workout shorts. The two layers do not make it feel lightweight in my opinion, but they are acceptable. Overall, they appear to be an average pair of shorts, but I do feel like they will last a good amount of workouts.

These shorts have been a welcome addition to my workout rotation, as an everyday runner I’m picky in the shorts that I wear for exercising and these pass the test easily.

The first thing that I noticed after putting these shorts on the first time is how incredibly comfortable they are. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, providing great ventilation and flexibility to move, I’m able to workout without thinking about how sweaty or heavy my shorts are. The material lets sweat dry quickly and keeps me comfortable while doing the most strenuous workouts, in the sun or in the shade.

The waistband is made of an elastic material, and the drawstring keeps my shorts on and secure, to keep them from moving around during runs and workouts. And the inseam is about 5 inches which is the perfect length where I can run or squat without the shorts wrapping around my knees.

I particularly love the phone pocket against the thigh, it keeps the phone in place in a secure place of my body without it flopping around while I move. The shorts also look good anywhere that I wear them, whether its the gym or the store.

Material and build wise, these shorts are super high quality for being an Amazon brand, comparable with some of my Nike and Adidas shorts. I am very happy with these shorts.

Depending on what type of running shorts you have worked with in the past these might be a little heavier material. I have tried both sides of the spectrum where I have some that are heavier that I don’t mind but it seems that several that are specifically geared towards running tend to be much lighter. I’m hoping that just makes these a little more durable. I did size up as i’m finding running shorts to be a little tighter than a pair of jeans. In more typical daily wear I wear a 36 waist but in running shorts I try to size up to whatever gives me the 38 waist and that seems to have worked here as well. They are not super tight so maybe if you want a lot of compression stick to your regular size but if you don’t want to be overly compressed consider sizing up. I like the addition of the towel loop with these that could be used for either a towel or possibly holding a shirt while you go for a run. There are zipper pockets on both hips and they seem to function ok but maybe not the highest quality zippers but its a nice feature to help secure small items. There is also 1 inner pocket / compression pocket on the spandex lining that could hold a phone or other small items like credit card if needed. Seems like a nice pair if you are looking specifically for a more heavy duty pair of running shorts.

I bought these for gym shorts for my husband, but he wears them all the time because they are so comfortable. He wasn’t sure about the compression short underneath at first, but he really likes it. He says it keeps his thighs from chafing, and the compression part doesn’t actually show unless you are really looking hard.

JMIERR’s Men’s 2-in-1 Running Shorts have become a go-to in my running workout!

These shorts feature a built-in compression liner. This provides a supportive, secure fit that helps prevent chafing and muscle fatigue during runs or exercise. The outer layer offers additional coverage and a comfortable fit for running errands or lounging.
The shorts are made from a lightweight, moisture-wicking material that dries quickly, keeping you cool and sweat-free during even the most intense workouts.
The stretchy fabric and built-in liner allow for a wide range of motion without feeling restrictive. You can tackle any stride or exercise with ease.
The outer layer features pockets that are deep enough to hold your phone or keys, freeing you from having to carry extras while you exercise.
While these shorts come in a variety of sizes, some reviewers recommend considering sizing up for a looser fit, especially if you prefer the outer layer to drape a bit more.

All in all, These Running Shorts are a convenient and affordable option for runners and gym enthusiasts alike. The built-in liner provides support, the outer layer offers additional coverage, and the quick-drying fabric keeps you comfortable during your workout. With a great price point, these shorts are a solid value. I highly recommend them!

I have young athletes at home, so I was happy to take the opportunity to try out these shorts. I don’t really have anything spectacular to write about them, nor do I have anything bad to write for that matter.

The concept is a good one, blended outer shorts and a compression inner-liner. I think the towel loop is a bit of a gimmick, but easy to ignore. Price-wise, they appear comparable to other products within the same class.

Overall we are satisfied with their utility.

My 13 year old volleyball player loves the double layer running shorts. He’s very skinny (about 100lbs soaking wet) so I ordered him a small. He’ll roll them for now, but has plenty of room to grow (no complaints here). These are well made shorts for the price and the added pockets are definitely a bonus.
