These running (shoe) lights are a cool idea and fun to wear when out at night. I wear a headlamp as well when I am running so these shoe lights improve my night vision and increase my visibility. One concern though is that the beam is not adjustable in any way other than moving the light to a different position on your shoe. These are powered by two button batteries in each light. I wish for convenience that they would be rechargeable. Overall I’m pretty happy with these but not sure if I would purchase them again.

We put these on my daughter’s shoes at night and she likes them. These are a nice light source for night walks. I recommend for kids or adults. Easy to use and put on shoes.
Closer Look –
These little shoe lights are both amusing and theoretically practical. Every evening we take our small dogs outside to go potty prior to heading to bed. In the dark we carry flashlights while we also carry the often-reluctant dogs. Lights on our shoes just seemed like a good idea so that we could focus more on holding and less on holding flashlights. So, I ordered these shoe lights with admittedly low expectations.
It turns out that these lights are stronger than I imagined they would be—and that they have the potential for other uses I had not considered.
They are not highly illuminating, but they do cast light on the ground in front of us as we walk. And, because they are close to the ground, we can see the surface of the lawn, sidewalk, and garden areas better than with a flashlight held feet away from the ground.
Ideally these would clip onto the top of shoe with a permanently fixed location near the toe. This location at the end of a shoe is so that the lights can point directly ahead and not down. These shoe lights do not rotate so the lights have to be positioned just right to get the correct focal point set up in advance. They don’t work too well on a set of shoelaces which can shift as one pivots on their feet; these lights will point in different direction, not necessarily directly to the front, when there is a shift in the surfaces to which they are clipped. So, while these little lights have a lot of potential, there is room for improvement as ‘shoe-lights.’
That said, I did clip one of them to the harness of one of our dogs–under her chin. It didn’t seem to be uncomfortable for her, but the harness is padded and this helped cushion the clip which is hard plastic. The shoe light allowed us to see where she meandered in the dark along our fence and throughout the yard. I am not sure the dog appreciated having it attached to her or that it improved her night vision.
Not only can these lights help us track our dogs, but I can also imagine wearing one on my own jacket when I walk the pups at night so that I am visible to traffic or to other pedestrians.
I like that these lights flash at two different speeds, though I can’t figure out how I might use this feature.
In general, these seem like useful little lights that could use some refining as “shoe lights.”

Got this clip on headlights for my son who loves skateboarding and goes home when it’s already dark. Very easy to operate and clips to any type of sneakers. Great for evening runs and walks.

These lamps are fun for kids clog shoes. They love to walk around at night with the lights on.

Puts out a lot of light. Nothing negative yo say.
TRU –
I got these for my son to wear with his crocs. They are very bright and attach easily. When you push on the light you can change the effect from a solid beam, to blinking or strobe. The only minor issue is that they need to be off to the side a bit because they aren’t comfortable to wear when they are centered. (This would not be an issue when attached to sneakers)

Not bright at all
