Pro’s: The light output is adequate, plus it’s adjustable. High, Medium, and Low. That’s pretty cool. When it’s pitch dark outside, you don’t need much light to see, and the low setting will extend the battery.
Semi con’s: The strobe functions (white and red) seem pretty pointless. If you accidently click once too often and get into the strobe function, you have to click back out and start over again.
The red light function, although seldom used, does come in handy once in great while. At least for me anyway.
Concerning the battery life. All I can say is that it must be pretty good. I probably have approximately 8hrs run time and it’s still going strong, but I run the light on the low setting most of the time.
ADDENDUM: Using 800mAh rechargeable batteries, I got approximately 12 hours of usable light on the low setting.

I really like that you can use batteries for these just in case you have no power to charge them. Great value for price and the are comfortable and bright enough. 3 different lighting options makes it easier for what you need the lighting for

Bought these headlamps to use while camping and they definitely do a good job. The lights get very very bright and help out a ton when out in the wilderness. They run off triple-A batteries I believe which honestly I prefer over having something I would have to charge. That way you can just bring extra batteries with you in the event the lamps die. Something you would have to recharge you always run the risk of it dying on you when you’re away from a wall outlet. Would recommend.

I purchased these for my son who is in Boy Scouts and needed them for weekend camping trips. The headlamp he had previously had broken during a trip and was no longer usable. This set of headlamps has worked out very well for him. They fit comfortably, they are very bright and seem to last quite a long time on a set of batteries. For the price it seems like it would be hard to beat them if you need a basic headlamp. I’m sure there are other models that are brighter or have some other features, but for a basic headlamp these do the trick nicely.

Bought several twin packs of these. Had a small problem with one light. Contacted email that was included on card with each shipment. Was pleasantly surprised when I got a reply the same day. Explained the problem and got a replacement with no hassle. They didn’t even want the old one back.
Now about the light. Switch has smart features. One I really like is that I can directly go to RED without cycling through white by holding down switch. Preserves night vision. Light returns to last color used with momentary press from off. White comes on low intensity. Steps through L-M-H, strobe. Red cycles steady, slow flash, strobe. Hold button down to turn off. Elastic band is 1″ wide, has good range of adjustments for head size. Light tilts down about 30 degrees. Holds position and stays on head well. Don’t know how to describe light output. Will say it’s very adequate in a dark environment. This is not the headlight I go to if working close up on a project during daylight. However it’s compact and runs a long time on 3 AAA batts. Good value.

I purchased this headlamp because i am a fac on their TacLED Flashlight, and have have had great experiences with this complany. They mage good product that are very reasonably priced and stand behind them with great customer care as well. As an avid rafter and camper, i go through quite a few flashlights and headlamps every season. I need ones that are fairly durable, with changable batteries ( I sometimes go 2+ weeks in the baclcountry so USB recargable doesnt work well for me), but cant break the bank on a top tier name brand light. They get lost, I give them out, they fall into the river, equipment gets watterlogged and I loosse another one. That made the pricepoint on these light great espicially for a 2pack. As long as the batteries havent been removed the ligh turns back on in the same color (red/white) as when you turned it off. Thats nice so you dont accidentaly blind someone turning it on trying to get to the red light feature. I do wish it saved the bright ness setting when in white mode. I find medium is good all around and it is kind of annoying clicking through, especially when you accidentally double press then have to cycle back aroiund throu the super brig and very rapid strobe mode. i almost wish that was somehow turned on in a different manner, but it is something i can get used to im sure. definatly not something that makes/breaks it for me. Overall its great value fore a dang good light, backed by an awesome company,
One thng to not is the large band size. I have quite a large head, usually i have trouble finding One Size itemns that will fit me, and i had to tighten the band quite a bit for it to be snug. not much room for elastic stretching. not a big deal for me, but something to be aware of for propl with average or smaller cap sizes. nothing a little duct tape hemm wont fix.

My husband uses it for early morning winter runs around our Norfolk village. Ideal for avoiding the mud and wandering deer, to say nothing of letting traffic be aware. Works well, and he’s delighted with it.

I use these for working on my cars. They’re very handy, because they’re astonishingly bright for the price. Also, comfortable on the head. But if you’re going to try backpacking or even camping with one of these, pay more for something better.
One drop, and your batteries are falling down the mountain along with you as you try and chase it. The clip holding the face on is weaker than my ability to say no to my mom. Hopefully she doesn’t read this..
But if you need cheap light with a strap that won’t dig into your skull and can help you see, I highly recommend. Plus the red light is a great feature. I will try stargazing with the red light. The lack of adjudgment is concerning, in terms of brightness. But I guess I’ll have to wipe my tears with my savings.

I love these head lights! Comfy and very useful during the last power outage we had several days ago. I bought them for this purpose and for walks during our dark winter evenings. So happy I made this purchase!
