The size of the watch is perfect! Not bulky, but still big enough that I can read everything on the screen when working out. I think the tracking is VERY accurate, especially with sleep. I LOVE all the personalization setting and all the work out trackers they have. Super user friendly. Also, the Garmin Coach is super useful. Highly recommend, I really can’t think of any complaints.

  2. Annie H

Very difficult and complicated to use. The manual is 116 pages. The stats are nice but for the price I expected more user friendly. I will be returning and going back to my fitbit to track my runs.

So, I’ll say, that this watch is worth every penny overall. There are a few minor things that I don’t like. 1. The pool swim tracker is not accurate. I have only used the run, pool swim and cardio apps so far. 2. The battery doesn’t last as long as indicated, BUT is still pretty decent. 3. I don’t believe that the heart rate monitor is accurate all the time either (not sure if it’s trying to catch up or what). Overall, however, it’s still a very good watch and is very functional.

Easy to use. Long lasting battery. Lots of detail for you data livers. Highly recommend.

Just moved over to the Garmin eco system from Polar. Wow! Who knew something could be so good but also so horrible at the same time. As a fitness tracker the Forerunner 255 is pretty good and very comfortable. But that is where it all ends. There is nothing, absolutely nothing intuitive about starting or programing a workout on this thing! Workouts won’t sync between the app and watch. And there is no way to just start a generic workout on the watch.

This watch is easy to use, gives you detailed input, and in my opinion is worth the money. I started getting into working out recently and my friend recommended Garmin watches. I originally had another brand’s watch but the battery life wasn’t long enough for me. My Garman watch now has a much longer battery life (usually ~3 days for me) and gives me many more options for both workouts and sleep.

Looks great. Has a lot of I for to show to assist with trainings. Somewhat hard to pair with new phone. Very useful though.

I got one for my birthday, literally as my decade old one died. Used for two days no, has a battery life about 6 hours and stopped on both daily runs. Told me I’m super stressed out and to do deep breathing with a hr of 73, so I guess it can’t do that either. Better off with ANYTHING else.
