This camelbak was bought to replacing a 20 yr old mule which dry rotted . I like the quick release hose and the lockout the material is cooler and repels water. storage is small and water capacity is not enough for a long ride on a hot day. good value for price though and short rides.

I’ve been using it for a few months now and I’ve been really impressed with it. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear, even when I’m riding for long periods of time. I was worried about the amount of storage in this, none of the reviews or product photos did a good job at showing how much you could really fit inside of it. See my video for more info, but they did a great job.
On a long run I want to carry my cell phone, a snack bar, and a small strip of moleskine. This bag will hold far more easily. It is very comfortable and very lightweight.
If you are filling the pouch with cold or icy water, you need to have realistic expectations about what it means to place that upon your back. Condensation will form and it will soak through the pack in both directions. So satch out for your electronics; if you intend to bring along your phone for a run tracking, it would be a good idea to put it in a ziplock bag.

It’s small so it fit my daughter perfectly, she’s 9, she’s had it for more than 6 months, there was a leak at the bottom but nothing outrageous just needed some tightening up and it was good to go

Do not waste your time on this product. It is terrible at its main function, retaining water. On top of that the bag feels extremely cheap and of low quality. If the bladder wasn’t so terrible, I’d be able to overlook the quality of the bag. The bladder I got was 1.5 liters but I could not fill it past 1 liter as I used it for mountain biking and when on the bike, 1.5 liters would leak all over my back. The bladder is fitted with a sad excuse of a plastic o-ring, which I believe, is the cause of the leakage. I’ll be staying clear of anything CamelBak in the near future.

I’m small (4’11” 118lbs) and it’s the perfect size! This is the 0.5 liter version so it’s smaller than the normal/average sized camelbak. There’s a separate pocket for things like granola bars, phone, wallet, keys, etc. I absolutely love it! **I know at the end of the video the water mouth piece drips but that’s because it’s not in the locked position. I haven’t had any leakage with this backpack/bladder**

I bought these for some scenario paintball games and they work great. The on/off valve is a must as they can leak when left overnight. No strange flavors from the bags, easy to take out and clean, very lightweight. They also have a loop on the shoulders for mics or other items you might want to attach to your pack. Well worth the money. I would definitely buy again.

It’s OK there’s not a lot of pockets. It’s really small so it’s not super heavy but it empties out really quick and there’s no pockets except for one tiny one, but it has good value for the money.
