I like this watch. It’s durable and rugged, and comes with an awesome backlight that is so bright you could even use it as a flashlight. It has four different dials you can choose from, two having standard time, two having military time. The watch face is always on, so you don’t have to press any buttons to see the time, which I really like.

The watch dials all only display the time and the day of the month (none of them display the month number). Some of them also display your steps and heart-rate (I believe this is measured every 15 mins – this is what the instruction manual states).

It has a 350mAh battery, and seems to last for quite a long time, from my experience.

The steps, heart-rate, and calorie monitoring is not that accurate in my opinion. I have a few other smart watches, and my treadmill also keeps track of my distance and calories and this watch was much different than my other smart watches and my treadmill itself. On average, the steps are much higher than they should be, the heart-rate is much lower than it should be, and the calories are much lower than they should be. On an average run on the treadmill, I’ve averaged about 1200 steps, 137 max heart rate, and roughly 160 calories. This watch showed that I went 1,929 steps, burned 87 calories, and went 1.4 km (no way to change it to mph that I can see).

So, I would not recommend this watch for the exercise tracking features, as they are lacking in my experience.

However, I still love this watch, because the dial is always lit up, it has a really bright backlight, and the battery is rechargeable. Also, it is durable and rugged (including the band itself), and is water-proof mostly (not water vapor). Those features alone make this watch worth it for me.

The watch does not connect to any 3rd party apps, and does not have any sort of bluetooth connection coming from it (nothing about this in the instruction manual anyway). The watch is able to save your exercise data (so far, I’ve saved 2 records, and they are easily viewable from the Sports -> Historical section.)

The backlight is great quality, and it stays lit for about 20 secs each time you press the “Light” button on the watch itself.

The watch has 4 buttons: Light, Up/Dn, Ok, Back. The buttons seem to be of good quality and press easily and release easily when you let go of the pressure.

There are 4 main categories of functions: Time, Heart-rate, Compass, Sports mode, and Settings.

In the sports mode, these are included: Running, Walking, Hiking, Cycling, Swimming, Ball, Stopwatch, Countdown timer, and Historical.

In the settings mode, these are included: Alarm clock (3 of them), Date, Time, Brightness, Restore factory settings, and Product information (version, name, etc.)

The alarm clock and countdown timer vibrate the watch when they reach the desired time. It is pretty intense, and has successfully woken me up from light sleep. I would not recommend solely depending upon this watch for your alarm clock though.

So, in summary, this is a great watch if you’re looking for a durable and rugged watch that has a great backlight and the screen remains lit all the time, and the battery is rechargeable (so you don’t have to keep changing batteries every few years yourself).

However, if you’re looking for a smart watch that will track your steps, track your workouts accurately, track your calories, track your sleep (this watch does not do this at all), etc. then I think you should look at other watches instead.

This is actually a pretty good package for the money. I needed something that provided continuous heart rate monitoring and this watch requires you to stop an wait while it samples the heart rate. Worked well with all the other basic functions, just not a fit for me

I was excited once this watch came along… I was a little bit skeptical about the price point and the future sets, but this watch lives up to the hype 🙂

The menus are really easy to use and really easy to set up. As far as I can tell, the sensors are all fairly accurate.

I go camping a lot and do a lot of scout work, so I’m real excited to put this thing through the paces and the outdoors.

As you can see in the picture, it’s very easy to see the watch and daylight, and the light works great in the dark.

I’m interested to see how the battery life works in the field, but so far I’m pretty impressed.

Read fully—- I was disappointed that the watch built condensation inside the housing in less than a week. I returned the item, left an honest review and the manufacturer contacted me. They sent a replacement shortly after at no cost to me. So far this one has been great, exactly what I expected from the start. Fits great, holds a battery for several days before needing a charge. The first pic is of the broken watch, second is the replacement after several days usage and no charge yet.
