Only thing my granddaughter will wear all year long. Must be nice to live in Florida !!!

  2. RKane

Nice colors. Good fit. My kid loves these shorts for her school sports.

Bought these for my 8yr old for soccer. They are slightly large on her, but she loves the fit and says they are very comfortable. They do “bell out” around the thigh area, but it’s not anything problem causing, just something my daughter noticed. They look great, wash well, and fit well. No complaints!

  4. Falling melancholy

Great shorts for leotards. Simple, affordable and serves the purpose to offer a little more coverage to wear over dance/gymnastics leotards. Good quality, soft, comfortable.

Great texture and material..so comfortable for warm humid weather

Update: We have three pairs of these shorts in different colors and unfortunately, one pair (purpleish-blue) have ripped a hole along the seam in the back (the seam that runs up and down and holds the two pieces together). The shorts remain baggy my very thin girl, so it’s not that they stretched too tight. It looks like the fabric along the seam started fraying. I’m still keeping the 5 star review because these things happen with fabrics. If it happens with another pair, I’ll lower the rating.

    Original review:
Just as other reviews mentioned, these shorts run big – I’d say at least a full size larger. But, I’m not deducting a star because they are comfortable and seem to be well-made.
My girl is 9 1/2, tall for her age, and very thin. She is in the middle of a growth spurt and is growing out of a normal size Large (10/12), especially in other similar shorts that we have. I was planning to order an XL in these, but after reading other reviews saying they run big, I opted for the Large. They are at least as big as an XL (14) might be in other shorts, possibly bigger. But it’s fine for us. She’s willing to wear them baggy and it gives her room to grow. I’ve included two photos to show how loose and baggy they are on her.
She doesn’t ever like the built-in underwear in this type of shorts, so I always cut them out. I suppose that could account for some of the bagginess, but I’m doubtful that it makes a huge difference.
Overall, I would recommend them. They are soft and comfortable!

  7. Birk Lady

My granddaughter loved the fit. Great price and very nice looking. Perfect.

  8. Laura.G

My pre-teen daughter is very high maintenance when it comes to clothing, but I can’t say I blame her. She prefers a forgiving waistline, a liner, breathable/light material and modest length to her athletic shorts. These fit the bill and fit true to size. They are basically the only shorts she has worn to sports practices for the last 3+ years.

  9. Diana Dunlap

My daughter is growing out of her 10/12 clothes and 14/16 are a little big. These shorts are a bit big but she can wear them and have room to grow. The material is soft and feels durable and most important, she likes them.

  10. MzMaxxy

Product quality is good. No rips, stains or tears. Fits as expected. Soft fabric.
