I JUST bought my cosmo headlamp at Academy, the packaging was misleading, I thought the headlamp came with a rechargeable battery and would just need to be plugged in to charge. Nope. AND there is already a newer longer lasting battery out that is cheaper than this battery, but it’s not compatible. Come on!

I use the rechargeable battery as may primary battery, and keep my AAA batteries as backup as I can use the AAA batteries in other things as well. Not sure how long they last in my Storm head lantern as I’ve never had one go dead, but taking my time on with the latch as many have broken the latch by not operating it correctly, this is an easy swap out when I need to recharge it with my backup one. Works great!

Hey, don’t pass up and be a cheap skate when it comes to buying this battery for your BD. Per the high price of replacing batteries all the time, you will finally come to the realization that this battery was the best purchase you’ve made in a long long time! It is very bright and lasts a good long while. You can even take the charger with you if you have a solar charger and re-charge as necessary. I have this battery and use it all the time and would never go back to just batteries alone — although I do carry a back-up supply of 3-A batteries just in case (I have the duel fuel lamp, the only way to go). Pico de Orizaba. Ya fui al pico de Orizaba y la pila no llega. Lamentable que la empresa no se comprometa a entregar el producto en el día que señala. Tenía que haber llegado el 6 o antes del 6 de enero y llegará hasta el 16. Pésimo servicio black Dimon.

We got an Astro 300 and it is nice and simple. THIS SHOULD BE A KIT NOT TWO SEPERATE ITEMS>>> DO BETTER BLACK DIAMOND>> Make sure you get a compatible light and battery as there are multiple that look close but don’t fit.
