This has got to be the best headlight on the market.
First of all, its lightweight and doesn’t leave the indentations on your forehead that the other headlamps do as the weight/battery sits on the back of your head.
The light is extremely bright so be careful and not let anyone look at you while it is on. I am able to see across about 5 of my acres to the barn with this on–No problem!
I would highly recommend these headlamps. Though they are a little more expensive than others, it’s definitely worth the extra $$

I am a runner, and this headlamp is amazing. It is really bright. My last headlamp was a Petzl, and I gave it away after I got this one. The battery pack is on the back of your head instead of the front, and this is an amazing feature. Makes the overall weight seem so much less. I got headaches wearing other headlamps, but not this one, because of the battery in the back instead of the front. I like that I can recharge it with the USB cable. Someone asked a question about if you can charge it with a power bank while it is operating – I’m draining my battery right now, so I will let you know soon.

Everything I was looking for in a headlamp. I use it for night time runs. Very light weight and doesn’t move or bounce when I run. It’s very bright and I love that you can adjust the angle of the beam. I think it offers 4 positions. Easy to charge and the charge lasts for several runs before needing recharging. Highly recommend.

It stays in place and is super light. I use it running tricky trails and it was perfect. Easy to use, once you figure out the button features. The strap is comfortable and the forehead pad is a perfect size.

I use this for night trail runs/races. The longest I’ve used it was probably for 4 hours (maybe 1 hour in the morning at the start of a race and then 3 or so hours at the end of the race). Worked well, stayed fairly bright. I would imagine that if I was running 100 miles and had to run through the night that I would have to charge it, but not a big deal. It is VERY comfortable. No bouncing around like many other headlamps. And no batteries!

EDIT: For some reason the headlamp actually started working properly finally! The only cause for it not working in the beginning and now working fine so far that I can think of is that perhaps a charging cord, power adapter or outlet was at fault. ALSO, the company BioLite DID reach out to me via e-mail and said they do have a ONE YEAR WARRANTY on their products so they were prepared to get a refund or replacement started for me. However, I decided to try charging the headlamp fully again using a different cord, usb power adapter and outlet and I discovered it worked just as it should!!! So I had to come update my original one star review. If it continues to work correctly over the next year on outdoor adventures I will update this product to five stars! Perhaps it was simply my own fault… not sure, but for now it is working and I am thrilled. And, the company was willing to work with me and that is awesome too. Thank you BioLite.

    Original review:

Bought in February 2021. I did not use this headlamp until a few weeks ago due to moving/life, etc. I fully charged it, used it ONE time…..ONE TIME… (in clear weather conditions mostly INSIDE of a tent) and the light lasted about ONE HOUR….. then it would not charge unless I had it plugged in…Had great expectations for this, but, as an avid hiker/backpacker, a headlamp completely failing on the FIRST go is unacceptable! And, of course, the window to return has passed. Just to double check, I FULLY CHARGED it just now (all four lights were lit), I unplugged it and the head light stayed on for a few seconds before turning off and saying it only had one bar and needs charging……..DO NOT BUY THIS HEADLAMP!!!!!!!!

This is super light, very bright, love the 5 settings, quickly charges, holds a charge for a good 10-14 hrs before needing a recharge. Feels like you aren’t wearing it and doesn’t leave dents in your skin, sweatproof material

I have had this in my house three days and they want a review already! Really?… It is, as a video says, a bit tricky to get the hang of the lights…. all of them to light separately. As for the two white lights together.. dimmed… it gave me quite a nice view range of the garden area I want to work on in the night when the hot sun is gone down! This is the main reason I picked one.

Very comfortable while running, provides ample light to illuminate dark paths, and easy to use. The only potential con is that angling the light downward often flicks over to another mode of lighting, meaning that you need to flick back through to your original setting. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
