A month after receiving these shoes. The top of the right shoe developed a hole in the material. I hadn’t worn these shoes but maybe 5 times total and the thread or materials are poor in quality. Overall very comfortable shoe and usually asics are good products but this shoe was not that. I can’t blame seller but now I can’t wear them to work as they were bought for. I missed window for return by a day when this hole appeared on shoe asics you can do better than this. I would rate higher usually because of comfort but they are now sitting in closet and only using to wear to mow lawn 8n

I wasn’t sure how they would fit because the 1st pair of Asics I had always felt and looked a half size too big. A second pair I owned felt just a tad too small. This pair of gel venture 8s feel perfect! I have bad hips and need both of them replaced eventually so I’m always looking for a good comfortable shoe. I put these on and was wowed! I tied them up and walked around the house a little. It feels like the toe box widens as I take a step making these feel even more comfortable than they already are. They’re light and just feel so good on my feet. Not too tight and not too loose. Just such a good fit. A guy I work with has the same pair and loves them! He wears them everyday so they’re well worn in and he says they’re still comfortable and he even bought a 2nd pair to have ready to go for when the current pair wear out. Which will be very soon 😆 Anyway that was enough for me to check them out and I’m so glad I did! He had no idea what model they were so I had to research a little, but it didn’t take me long. I found a great price here on Amazon so I ordered a pair and couldn’t wait for them to arrive! They were definitely worth the excitement! My brooks ghost 15s are like walking on pillows but I just love they way these gel ventures fit! I use insoles in my brooks and other shoes. Not with these though! They’re good as they are and much cheaper! So dang glad I came back to asics. All because of a guys worn out pair at work. Gotta love it! I highly suggest checking them out! I even ordered a 2nd pair to have on deck because they just fit so good and feel so comfortable! Nvm the great price! I didn’t want to miss out on the price but also didn’t want to worry about them not being made anymore since the 9s are now out. Been seeing and hearing really good things about those now! I guess they deff improve on the 8s and actually are better. I’ll check them out eventually. I’m happy enough with the 8s! Great job Asics!
I tried the venture 9s and I don’t like how bulky they are. The toe box has too much space between the top of my foot and the top of the toe box. They’re comfortable, but the 8s seem to be the sweet spot for me. They’ve been great so far! They just fit my feet so good! I also like the toe box mesh material more on the 8s. I just love the 8s so far!

I bought this shoe for price and purpose. I was wanting a cheap comfortable shoe for general wear around the house and outside. This shoe fits that purpose quite nicely. It’s actually a very good looking shoe also to wear out. I’ve had problems in the past with costly running shoes fitting too tight so I’ve got in the habit of always buying extra wide. These shoes are actually a little too wide for me but not to the point of returning. If I buy again it will be normal width. That was my only concern but not a big one. Other than that I would definitely recommend for price and overall comfort.

Looking for a trail sneaker for walking, short runs and everyday wear. Asics was always a favorite, I have one E wide feet. Asics accommodates my width without having to purchase wide sneakers. When I saw this in a size 9 and for under $40, I jumped right on it. Great quality and comfort that does not break the bank.

I wore another big brand of sneaker (err, athletic shoe) for twenty years. Found the quality had slipped, and they would de-laminate from the sole. So figured I’d try something new.
I’m now on my 5th pair of these, and I’m never going back to the old brand. These are super, last a good lone time, provide excellent support and DON’T FALL APART.

I have been buying New Balance for the past 20 years plus. I could not find a normal looking pair of New Balance so I gave these a try. Very pleased, they fit just like NB’s. Good looking, comfortable, reasonable price and so far they appear to be durable. I would buy them again.

Just two weeks of use but they felt really soft and comfortable. Using them for walking/hiking not on extreme terrains. The brand is great, the price can’t be better ($50), Materials seems pretty good. Oh, just make sure to find the ones that fit you. In my case, my size is usually 10, this time I went 10.5 as many people told me, and it’s true, it fits better. I’m really satisfied with this purchase.
Can’t say nothing about durability.

The shoes fit to size and are very comfortable. The colors are as advertised. I have used them walking, running, and they are my general everyday shoes. They have held up well and show no signs of wear. Overall a great purchase.
