Buckshot –
The ACCUSPLIT A601X might feel cheap because of the lightweight but its performance is top notch. I’ve been using mine daily for about a week to time my walks and exercises.
I bought it primarily because I was using a Casio Lineage watch to time those things. I don’t wear my glasses on walks because I wear sunglasses instead and the small LCD display on my Casio was hard to read while walking. The ACCUSPLIT solved that problem and then some. I can read it at a quick glance unlike my Casio which took me several seconds to get a good look at it. Take a look at my picture. You can see how much larger the display on the ACCUSPLIT is.
This stopwatch is also very easy to use. It’s accurate and the buttons are responsive but not so responsive that you can accidentally push them. The buttons are very well designed.
I’ve included a picture of the clock setting instructions as well. They are part of the paper lining. Not a separate pamphlet. Don’t throw away the packaging until you find the clock setting instructions. They were easy to follow but I would have had a heck of a time without them.
Great stopwatch at a very reasonable price. I’m glad I bought one.

It works good for simple timing.

There is no need to go on utube to find out how to use the device. All in all, very very nice

Listen, I do NOT understand the modes whatsoever. I just needed a basic timer function for exercises. The other modes make no sense to me but I also don’t really know what they’re for. All I know is, I ran this thing through the washing machine (ON ACCIDENT! I think on a cold wash) and it survived unscathed and is still perfectly functional. Not cheap for a timer, but durable and well made. Recommend!

This stopwatch was designed for durability and simplicity above all else. It doesn’t have a lot of extra features – no illumination, no alarm, and no beep to confirm start & stop (only a solid click). But it makes up for that with its almost tank-like build quality.
The switches actuate with a firm click which is tactile and audible. And they are firm enough that they’re unlikely to be accidentally activated by pressure. They are hinged at the front – they angle back when pressed rather than push straight down, which takes a bit of getting used to, but it’s part of the simple & durable design. The switches are rated for 1 million cycles(!), so they’re not going to break off like can happen on cheap models.
This stopwatch is somewhat large, with a large LCD display, and it’s waterproof. After useage in water, you might notice water droplets under the back side of the case. I think this is normal – water has not entered past the sealed inner compartment. Exposing it to the sun bottom-side up for a few hours dries out the non-sealed outer part of the compartment.
Other than the battery, I can imagine this stopwatch lasting me many years. Though I find the completely flat backside is not very comfortable to hold in the palm.
Love the choice of colors. I bought the ‘Lemon’ model, but to my dismay it’s not a bright lemon yellow as it looks in the official product photo – it’s a darker, duller yellow (see the pics I added).
