  1. R. Barton

Works as advertised, except for the whistle. I did not buy it for the whistle anyway, but had to blow it since it was there. The whistle doesn’t work right. Like a very very cheap kids whistle. The oversize display is nice and all the watch, functions work as they should. Another small gripe is that while you will be able to figure out how to do the stopwatch without the manual, you really need the manual to figure out how to set the time or alarm. This can be a minor pain if you don’t have the little instruction thing with you and decide you want to set the alarm or something. I think it would have been very easy for them to print the instructions on the back of the stopwatch. It is what it is, an inexpensive stopwatch with an oversize display. I wouldn’t call the display “Giant” either. I am happy with my purchase which was between this and the 4 or so other normal display stopwatches which where at the big local sports store at the time.

Bought the stopwatches for a swim meet, 5 of them arrived with dead batteries, at the swim meet several of the stopwatches malfunctioned, it was a complete disaster, they are cheap junk, do not buy

  3. The BW

The numbers are large enough to see without my glasses and the buttons are identifiable enough even when I’m in the middle of an exercise. The reset button is amazing for rest-pause exercise sets because of how easily it is reached.

I’ve seen a number of negative reviews on this item and must say i dont see how it can possibly be that bad. I bought one for myself about 5 years ago and use it constantly, specifically i use it during motorcycle safety classes to time exercises and evaluations. The added whistle allows a quick notification to students something is wrong. I’ve never had a problem with. I’ve liked it so much that I purchased them for each of my other instructors. Timer is quick and responsive. Buttons are sometimes overly sensitive but you get used to it quickly. The added sensitivity is actually helpful when 1/100ths of a second matter. The size is perfect for the average size hand, but the lanyard might be a bit too long. I’ve used it a number of times in the rain and it seems to be adequately waterproof. Highly suggest this stopwatch for those looking for a cheap but useful item.

Arrived sooner than expected and I used it the very next day. Stopwatch worked perfectly.

  6. Penelope S. Burgett

I give it a 2 (rather than a 1) because the stopwatch function works and is easy to reset to zero once you figure out how that function works. That said, it is the worst to try and set either the alarm or the time. Still haven’t been able to turn the alarm off. The setting buttons are unresponsive – takes several presses to get anything done, then if it jumps past the number you want you’re back at square one. Wouldn’t take another one as a gift.

It came broken! The screen was blank upon arrival

    worked fine
