I’m newer to running and working out. I had a generic running hat from a 5K walk I did a couple years ago and was using it on the days I ran in the gym and hated having to come home and wash it on the nights where I would be running again the next day so I bought this hat. I hate that old hat now. This thing is amazing. Super padded on the inside to hold all the sweat. Cheap enough to buy 2 or 3 and I knew I wanted a Velcro strap to adjust on the go. This has it all.

+++ cannot beat the price….solid construction…the solid fabric panels block solar well
— you gotta have massive melon or huge hair for this thing to fit snug… be mindful that some side panels are loose mesh which will filter but not block all the uv you’re trying to stop… and if you’re doing sweaty sports watch out: the inner sweatband fabric doesn’t soak up much before it saturates. On summertime runs I can go about 25min before sweat oversaturates sweatband & goes straight into eyes for the rest of the workout. ?so maybe if you have a good headband try wearing that beneath this cap to help your eyeballs and for a snug fit?

If there is any sort of breeze, this hat is so well vented that it almost feels like you’re not wearing a hat. Warning–DON’T wear this hat in the WINTER if you need to keep you head warm–it won’t do that! But for warmer weather, it really relieves accumulated heat. It’s very light weight, and very comfortable to wear. I frequently wear it, indoors or outdoors (for example, right now as I write this review). I previously purchased the same hat in black, and liked it so much that I purchased this navy blue version.

This running cap absorbs sweat well, is smooth to the touch and breathes well overall. The only thing to note is that the brim is slightly longer and the head cap a bit shallower than one might expect.

I love this hat for running. It’s lightweight and cool, and the sweatband is really good — no small compliment, as summer’s here are very hot and humid. My only complaint is that there’s not enough Velcro to adjust for small heads. As you can see in the picture, I’ve got it as small as I can get it, and the strap isn’t super secure. I’ll be adding some Velcro to tack down that long tail.

I normally wore a baseball hat when I played pickleball. However the hat retained the heat from my head and I was always removing it to cool off. I also had visibility issues with the longer brim.
This hat is very light weight with large vents on each side of the head for ventilation. The brim is well sized, slightly shorter in both length and width but provides adequate sun blocking.
After 1 or 2 hours of play I do not experience an overheated head.
I love this hat it’s even easy to pack in my gear bag.

I’ll start by saying that I’m not a fan of hats…they tend to make my head feel hot and sweaty. But if I’m not careful, my forehead and face will sunburn so I’ve taken to wearing them. This one…is a KEEPER!
This hat is light and cool an very comfortable and it breaths like crazy. I can wear it on the hottest days and it does it’s job without making me feel like I’m suffocating (as I mentioned…I don’t like hats). When it gets wet or sweaty, it dries right off. And the fabric has a bit of stretch to it. It’s just a great hat!

I ordered two of these, one black and one white, and was very pleased with the overall quality. They’re very lightweight, not at all bulky, adjust easily while on your head, and store easily. When I need more, I’ll revisit this brand and style for sure.
