Neither of the lights worked, removed and re-installed batteries, installed new batteries, reversed batteries, back to original install, still did not work, will return product

Very handy, quality built. I bought a few of them for myself and kids. I love ‘em!

I am a field biologist and do some searching for amphibians in the dark. These are definitely not bright enough for that…that’s why I have a very expensive headlamp that no one else in the family is allowed to use. But THESE were just fine for my teens for camping. Worked great for trips to the bathroom and setting up camp in the dark.
Note that you have to take the batteries completely OUT and remove the tiny slice of paper from under a battery, or else they won’t work. Took us a while to figure that out. After we did that, the batteries they came with worked just fine!

I was able to purchase 2 for equal quality of other brands that were charging for 1

Very bright, comfortable headlamp with 3 settings – low, high, and strobe. The lamp itself has different settings for the angle you need. The elastic is soft and comfortable. The light itself is all plastic, so lightweight, not heavy-duty. It i a magnified LED. Perfect for our storm shelter. It did come with batteries and they were all dead. You’ll need 3 – AAA batteries per headlamp.

These headlamps are decently bright and I like the fact they can tilt so you can work on things without holding a light. But 1 of the 2 came damaged unfortunately. Otherwise it fits comfortably on your head and I is an ok product.

There is a little paper dot between the ground pad and the spring in each of the little battery packs in these head lamps. This protects the batteries and light during storage and shipment from being accidentally drained or damaged. Make sure you open the battery bay, find the little white paper dot, and remove it. I skimmed the reviews and saw some mentioning dead batteries or dead on arrival lights. I’m not sure if those are all related to this but some may be? I included a picture in my review that shows the little dots I’m talking about. This is not mentioned in the little included instruction manual.
On my examples they both worked fine once I remove the battery protector dots. The “low” mode works fine for me for general walking about and getting around. For detailed work where I really need to see the “bright” mode gives me plenty of light. The only use I can see for the strobe is an emergency. The light is a clean white light that doesn’t color shift things I’m looking at too badly, that can actually be important if you’re tracing wires or something.
I’ve used one of the lamps for a few evenings already and I’m still on the included batteries, so it seems to have reasonable battery life particularly since I doubt the included batteries are of very high quality. I’ve used them in mixed low/bright mode and I’m not really sure how many hours of either or both but my general impression is they have decent battery life.
The angle adjustment up and down works fine and smoothly and holds position well.
They don’t list any kind of water proofing or resistance but I will say the switch is rubberized and the battery compartment has an o-ring. I wouldn’t dunk it but I’m willing to bet it would hold up to light rain or spray. I’m not guaranteeing that of course it’s just my impression that the lights are pretty well sealed.
My head size is ~23&3/4″ (~60 cm) around, measured just above the ears & eyebrows. I wear a size extra-large hat most of the time, depending on the brand and style. I’ve got a pretty big noggin, a big face, and I’m generally a pretty big guy. I do have to adjust the elastic bands out literally as absolutely far out as they can go on these head lamps for them to fit comfortably, but they do fit without being uncomfortable. I find the one strap that goes over the top of the head a touch short and the overall fit is tight on my head still but again not uncomfortable. If you’ve got a big ol’ head like me you’re probably used to it like I am.
All in all these are good head lamps and seem reasonably priced for a 2 pack so I’m giving them 5 stars!
