I’ve had a headlamp before to use for various projects which require me to be in a location with low light. However, I’ve had to look straight on whatever I happen to be working on. The latest example was tacking up cables and cords under a desk. The flexible adjustment on the headlamp allows me to position the light directly on my hands while I work. It is also great when I’m sewing as the light on my sewing machine isn’t very bright and the machine itself blocks the overhead bright light. Many uses for the flexibility.
Additionally, I use it when I walk in the evenings. I point the light down to the street so it doesn’t shine onto drivers. I keeps me both visible to motorists as well as it lights up my path as our neighborhood doesn’t have street lights.
I didn’t rate it on battery life as I haven’t had it long but it’s used daily on the first batteries.

It’s beautiful as far as putting light where you want it but the comfort goes away really quick when you wear it for a while. Just put some padding on your forehead and your golden.

I bought this light to help with my crafts. The lighting in my apartment is abysmal, and I often have trouble seeing the crafts I’m working on (small details that are easier to see in light). There isn’t room on my desk for a lamp, so I decided to try a head light. This one was cheap, and so far I’ve used it for at least 24 hours and the batteries haven’t died yet. It does not come with batteries (3 AAA), but for the price, it was well worth it. It has 3 brightness settings and 1 strobe setting (which is great for annoying my husband) and it is incredibly bright. The strap is super comfortable, but it does give me a headache after 4 or 5 hours (though I hardly doubt people will be using it for that long most times). Would buy again.

Used it the first time to walk the garbage can out at night. I loved how I can adjust it so the light hit right where I needed it.

Nice bright light in a light weight headlamp with a comfortable adjustable elastic headband. Use it directly on your head or your hat. The push button cycles through the 3 levels of the white light brightness, plus the flashing white light. If you hold the button for 3 seconds it goes into RED mode and the next two button presses cycle through displaying SOS in Morris Code, and rapidly flashing the 2 RED LEDs at the same time.
The main while LED reflector does a nice job of concentrating the light while also given some broader, nor general illumination at the same time.
The light module can be tilted so that it points at an angle between straight ahead and up to 45 degrees downward making it easier to see the path in front of you without having to bow your head while you walk.
The only concern I have about it is that the clip that holds the battery compartment shut is the same clear hard plastic as is used in the lens of the headlamp. I wonder if it will endure or if it is a brittle plastic that will succumb to cracking after multiple openings of the battery compartment.
Based on how well it appears to be made, I expect that it will last a long time.
