This head light was made with a lot of thought behind it. First of all the construction is really solid, you can feel it from the all metal body to the thick soft flexible headband. It has click stops to raise or lower the light beam in small increments; 10 up and 12 down., virtually unlimited. Unscrew one side to remove the large 3.7 volt 2000 mAh battery rechargeable battery. Unscrew the other side to reveal the usb-c charging port ( comes with the charging cable). Even the threads to screw and unscrew the ends are smooth and have a quality feel to them. The headband is made of a very soft stretchy material. I have a large head and there is plenty of room to expand it incase you have a head the size of a watermelon! The brightness is hard to show but I have tried to give you and idea in the pictures. First one is lights off and then with the headlight on from about four feet away with a 120mm macro lens. I am sure you know how bright a camera flash can be… I would say its comparable. I think this will become a best seller!!! Just my opinion… I already purchased another one for my son in law who is a Union Iron worker, He uses it every day and loves it! Highly recommended

This is a fantastic headlamp.
Highlights:
– Very comfortable to wear for battery-forward design
– Excellent vertical adjustment
– Intuitive controls
– 5 brightness settings
– Solid construction
Cons:
– More spotlight than wide field lighting
I love this headset. Beyond comfort, it’s very intuitive to control, unlike other headsets from better-known brands. Simple to twist the dual lamps up or down (very nice for evening work on a broken vehicle), a short press of the single control button clicks the light on or off. When on, holding the button down cycles through the 5 brightness settings, or a single long press cycles the lamp from a higher to lower brightness.
The light is more of a spotlight than a wide-area light. No complaint there, just sayin’. Current price of ~$27 is a great value. 5/5.

Excellent head lamp! The lights are nice and bright and we’ve been using it for a couple months now and it’s still nice and bright and we haven’t had to charge it yet so it holds a good charge. Fits our heads well and is adjustable.

This worked great for when we go fishing at night. This helps us see the fish and filet them. There are a few light settings on the headlight, and they’re easy to charge and change. Super bright lights

The Moon and Fort Ultra Bright LED headlamp really is very bright. Taking it outside on a dark night, it did a great job of lighting up the area as I walked around the house. The illuminated area was both bright enough and wide/deep enough to very comfortably see everything in the area. I would guess the illuminated area was roughly 50′ x 50′. This headlamp has a half dozen settings, with variable brightness and flashing modes. Personally, I wish manufacturers would dispense with the flashing modes; they’re utterly useless as far as I can tell and just make it longer to cycle through the modes. Thankfully with this headlamp I can turn it off with a quick push of the button after I’ve had it on for a bit without having to cycle through all the modes.
Aside from the brightness of the lamp, I was also very impressed with the construction. It feels very robust, with a stout aluminum housing and a switch that feels like a quality switch. One side of the housing unscrews, allowing replacement of the battery should the need arise (you will need to open the housing to remove the plastic protective piece off the end of the battery before use). The opposite end of the housing unscrews a short distance to reveal the charge port. Finding the charge port was a little tricky for me; the instructions said to charge with the hidden charge port, but I couldn’t find it anywhere (well hidden!), and nothing in the instructions told me where it was. But then I checked the box, and sure enough the photo on the front showed where the charge port was located. So don’t throw away the box until you know the system!
When charging, there’s a large red light on one end that glows until the charge is completed, at which point it turns green. Nice and easy to see! A charge cord comes with the lamp, but no wall wart, so you’ll need to find your own USB port or power supply/wall wart. I was impressed with the retention system for rotating the housing to direct the light up or down; much better then the system I’ve found on most head lamps. Rotating the housing is pretty easy, but it locks solidly in place and I don’t think it’s likely to loosen over time. All in all, this is probably the nicest headlamp I’ve owned or come across.

I use headlamps a lot & this one just doesn’t stack up to the others that I have. The brightness & battery life are lackluster. It’s neat that there’s a bunch of different modes & a battery life light indicator, but this is not my first choice when needing to use a headlamp.

I like this light as it is well made and easy to use. I got it to use on my night runs but I haven’t used it for that because of it’s weight. It’s just too heavy and not comfortable to use in this capacity. It’s not quite powerful enough for serious cycling or I would use it for that. I guess night walks and hiking are going to be it’s primary use but even for that I enjoy having something lighter and more comfortable.
