The size on this bag is perfect for long mountain bike rides, in terms of water carriage (3L is great for one person on a couple hour ride) and extra storage space for keys, a phone, sunscreen, and a small snack. It’s also super nice looking in color and style as you can see in the photo! The proprietary water bag tastes as expected for its type – plasticky. I guess we’ll never get past that, technology wise, but the things contour around your back so well and carry so much water because of it that it’s kinda worth it considering you don’t use it every day or anything. Get one of these bags!

I liked everything about it except the fact it took me awhile to learn how to drink out of it lol

Carried 2L of water plus a small compartment for snacks. I love it! So far I haven’t had any issues with leaks.

I’m so glad I went with this backpack because it’s amazing. It’s my first hydro pack back and at first I ordered a generic brand one that starts with a V here on Amazon. It had a ton of good reviews but it was cheap and uncomfortable with thin scratchy straps and the water pack was very difficult to get back inside the backpack. This one is amazing and HIGH QUALITY like you’d expect from a name brand. Everything is thick and sturdy, I had zero issues with the bladder or the backpack straps. Make sure you pull up on the mouth piece before trying to use it, I had to watch a video on here to figure it out. I’m so happy with this backpack and so excited to take it for more hikes!!! Sorry the pics aren’t the best, it’s hard to get pics myself of it on my back

Had one when I was in the military. This one was abit better than my previous one. Light weight and versatile. Can fit more things in this one than my last

I would give the backpack a 4. It seems sturdy and has good pockets. It does not have a spot in the top for the drinking tube to pass from the inside to the outside. My complaints are with the bladder and drinking tube. The bladder is black so it is impossible to see the water inside. If you are unlucky enough to have bad things in your bag you cannot see it. For me, this is very important when I want to drain the pack for storage. The place where the drinking tube inserts into the bladder has a valve that prevents water from leaking when the tube is removed. This is good/bad. Good for obvious reasons. Bad because you cannot drain the bag through that location and that is the spot where you can drain the bad easiest. And I have no idea how the drinking valve is supposed to work. I have made it work, but I know it is not the way it was intended. Also, the tube has a design to insert into the bag that prevents blowing out the water. This makes it harder to dry. The bag has some interesting design features, but I think they all make things more difficult for using the bag. I would love to help the company redesign their product to make it more user friendly. I decided to return it rather than deal with my frustrations.
