Due to our schedules, we often take walks in the late afternoon and evenings and always bring lights along to alert drivers to our presence. We have used a Velcro green light strap for a few years now but the seams are unraveling and I’ve been looking for a similar replacement. I like to use the neon green light as it’s more easily noticed by drivers than a white light flashlight that often blends in with other lights.

This model is better than our current strap as it’s a basically a slap band fitted with neon green lights. It’s wider, brighter and it can be locked straight which makes it much more visible when walking. Battery life is said to be 8-10 hours and it takes about two hours to charge it from empty using the provided double USB-C cord.

Bottom Line: Bright neon green slap bracelet. Perfect for running, cycling , walking and any evening or night activities where you want to be seen. Easy to apply as a slap strap on arms, legs or neck if you prefer and can also be hand-held fixed in the straight position for greater visibility. Longevity is something yet to be tested but it seems durable enough. It’s water resistant but not waterproof and has a rubber cover over the USB-C charging port. Recommended!

Got these for night rides and used them last night.

They’re like giant slap bands from the 90’s (but armband sized) but have a usb charge input and button to cycle blink strobe or steady on on one side.

Slap ’em on your arm, slap ’em wherever, and they’ll bend and hold, and you can straighten them back to stiff straight like you’d expect.

They lasted the whole 3-4 hour ride on steady on after charging them to full out of the pack and are super bright and attention getting.

The only thing I’d think would be cooler is if they had RGB and maybe worked with one of the simple generic RGB infared or IR remotes.

I walk my dog very early in the morning – pre-sunrise if at all possible. Of course that means safety is a concern, so my little girl has a ridiculously bright pink LED collar to help any drivers we encounter at that hour see her. It occurred to me on one of our recent walks that it might be wise if my pup’s caregiver (that’s me!) is also visible in the pre-sunrise darkness, so when I stumbled across these reflective LED arm bands I decided to give them a try.

These arm bands are very simple to use. You wrap them around an ankle or a wrist, click the button (a few times if you want it to just be a solid light) and that’s pretty much it. I can easily fit these around my ankles (on the outside of my pants), or around a wrist, or even above the elbow so long as I’m not wearing too many layers. The LED is VERY bright – bright enough that you can temporarily be blinded by it if you get it in your face unexpectedly. Of course that may have more to do with my night blindness than anything else, but still worth mentioning.

While not directly related to the product itself I suppose, one of the things I like the most is that rather than just including 2 individual charging cables, the charging cable is a single USB 2.0 plug with a dual USB-C plug connector so both bands can be charged simultaneously. Definitely an unexpected bonus.

I’ve not had to recharge them since the first charge so I’m not really sure about battery life. Those early morning dog walks are relatively short (10-20 min usually) with the weather still being cold. The product listing states the charge is good for 8-10 hours of use, so I don’t anticipate having to recharge mine for a couple of weeks really. If battery life proves to be a downfall, I will definitely update this review. Until that time, however, I’m quite happy with these reflective LED bands and definitely recommend them.

These WILL get you noticed. They’re very bright, even when off, but when you turn the lights on, they are BRIGHT. Perfect for walks at night, or maybe attaching to a bike backpack, etc.

They do feel a little cheaply made so I don’t yet know how long they’ll last. The plastic usb port cover on one won’t close at all. Not a big deal, but feels cheap. The front and back parts appear to be glued together, so will they hold up in any kind of rain? Not sure yet.

The reason I deducted one star is that they feel like they could come off pretty easily. The only way they attach is with a sort of clicky bend to them. They click and bend in various areas and they just always feel loose and not secure. It’s enough to really bug me.

If there was just a small amount of velcro or *something* other than the internal click to secure it on, that would be great.

The Xeiophoy LED Armband is comfortable to wear and very bright! It’s sure to get attention and wearing it around your arm or leg is a SNAP (literally).

The band is about 14″ in length and emits a bright LED glow. It’s simple, one-button operating allows you to cycle thru the 4 modes – fast strobe, slow strobe, steady on, and off. Charging is a breeze via the USB-C port and the included USB-A to 2 x USB-C charge cable allows charging of both armbands at once. Bring your own “wall wart” charger.

The amband is smarly made with a single, bright LED at one end with is diffused via a flexible plastic to disperse the light into a solid glow. Unlike some other products that use multiple LEDs or a short LED strip, the light diffuser is very slim and comfortable. This should also allow for excellent run time on a single charge.

Whether you’re looking to improve safety while running or protecting your kids while trick-or-treating, the Xeiophoy LED Armband is up to the task of getting the attention it deserves!
